Wouldn't you think that you have the best job when you get to travel to the Serengeti time and again! Ammy thinks so.. Particularly because the Serengeti is his favorite game park in Tanzania.
Ammy has a way of making people feel comfortable of making them stretch themselves and try new things. He wouldn't ever tell he is too modest. His extra ordinary skills have developed over ten years of guiding Americans on Safaris. Ammy enjoys working with Americans and all other European tourists as he finds all of them to be very reasonable people as all of them "They say what they thing and tell you exactly what they need"
Ammy and Juliana are both multilingual speaking fluent English, Kiswahili and their local tribal language Meru.
Ammy hopes that Americans and other tourists leave Tanzania with a better understanding of our country so they can spread the word back in their countries. he is encouraged about our country and hopes that increases in tourism will continue to improve Tanzania's income.
Ammy is from the Meru tribe, A tribal group that settles at the base of Mt. Meru, just outside Arusha Tanzania in usa river, His wife Juliana is also a Meru, they both take great pleasure on their son Richard, who is 5 years old. Richard attends pre-school in Usa river with his mother, a teacher herself, enjoys the stories he returns home with everyday about what happened at school.
David Mshana
With eleven years of guiding experience , David has an amazing comfort around Tanzania's wild creatures an a keen eye. David gets you up close to a lion pride or into the midst of an elephant clan.
His favorite game park is the Serengeti an he never gets tired of watching the cheetah. At home with creatures great and small.
David is our best when it comes to the wonders of birdlife, he can introduce you to a new Africa through birding!
He spend most of his early life in the Kilimanjaro region an is a member of the Pare tribe, but then he moved to Lowal.
His Father is a Lutheran Minister who was assigned to a parish in Lowa and it was here that David became a fluent English speaker. He also speaks Kiswahili and his native tribal language. David and his wife are the proud parents of three exuberant children.
