Sematango tours offers two styles
of camping, deluxe/luxury and classic.
We make our itineraries flexible to take the best advantage of the animals according
to their movement at the certain times of the year.
Game drives can be done in a variety of ways - dependent upon the location and
movement of the animals and the wishes of our clients. Camp sites are chosen
in private camp sites: again according to the movement of the animals.
Our camping standards are some of the best in the business, and we as a company
strive to give each and every one of our clients the kind of Safari we believe
they should experience. We pride ourselves in giving a very personalized safari-
you are our guest, and we want to share Tanzania's beautiful land and animals
with you.
The classic camp
This Camp uses 4person Eureka tents (only placing 2 clients in a tent) and has
a private shower and toilet tents located behind the tents. Two cots with foam
mattress are in each tent.
Our classic camp Safaris are for the discerning person who wants to experience
the real Tanzania - away from the hustle and bustle of the lodges. We strive
to take our clients off the normal tourist route, give them time to observe the
animals.
The following features can be found in our Deluxe Mobile Tented Safaris.
- Private Campsites
- Two cots with foam mattress are in each tent.
- Camp chairs
- Wash basins with soap and towels
- Mirrors, flashlights and tent lamps
- En suite toilets and shower facilities-supplied with toilet
paper, soap, spray deodorant.
- Three delicious meals a day. Snacks

- Services of English speaking driver/ guide
The luxury/ deluxe
This camp uses large heavy canvas tents, with hand made wooden beds and has toilet
and shower facilities attached to each tent.
Our deluxe Mobile Tented Safaris are for the discerning person who wants to experience
the real Tanzania - away from the hustle and bustle of the lodges. We strive
to take our clients off the normal tourist route, give them time to observe the
animals.
The following features can be found in our Deluxe Mobile Tented Safaris.
- Large walk-in tents with private verandah and fly sheet
- Private Campsites
- Wooden camp beds fitted with comfortable foam mattresses, sheets,
blankets, pillows and coverings.
- Bedside table in the tent.
- Camp chairs
- Wash basins with soap and towels
- Mirrors, flashlights and tent lamps
- En suite toilets and shower facilities-supplied with toilet
paper, soap, spray deodorant.
- Mess tent - Manyara type fully equipped. Soft drinks, bottled
water, coffee and tea provided with meals. Beer, wine, hard liquor
available for purchase.
